Our Grand Marshall for 2019

On Jan. 23rd our friend and  committee member, Francis "Ed" Stein went gracefully into Heaven i the arms of his daughter and caregiver Suzy. He joined his Heavenly father and the love of his life, Phyllis who was waiting for him with open arms at the Pearly Gates, saying "it's about time."

Ed was a proud American and WWII Veteran. He served 2 stints in the US Army as part of the 8th Armored Div. in the European Theatre. He worked many jobs but retired from the Superior Fire Dept. Ed & Phyllis were an intrical part of the Solid Rock Mission, both volunteering and serving on the Board of Directors. The mission, now known as the Solid Rock Haven was dedicated in honor of Ed and Phyllis Stein.
